Switching hosts to Doreo.com

In the next couple days I am switching hosts. That means DivitoDesign.com gets moved to a new servers with better uptime and services. The reason for this is the problems I had with the hosting the last couple weeks. When I contacted the host, they told me they are quitting.

I have already uploaded the database and files to the new server, the only thing that needs to change is the domain. As you might know, domain names are pointed to DNS servers. If a DNS server gets updated, it takes 24-48 hours to be updated around the web.

My website could be off line in some countries for a couple hours, in some a couple days. It should maximal takes 48 hours to be fully operative again. I hope to see you back after that. :)

By the way, I am switching to the Doreo family. Let’s see what they can bring me.

EDIT - 30 Juli 2008, 18:11 - As of now, everything is up and running again on the new server. I have my databases, files and email addresses up and it went smooth. I hope people are able to view the DNS changes already! See you soon!

Good luck with the switch. I switched around a lot in my early days of creating websites but now I’ve been with my current one for 3 years and it’s too much stress to think about moving.

Thanks, it worked out fine. I have switched a lot as well, because I didn’t had loads of money to spend so I choose the overselling and worst ones. Well, I am in the right spot now I think.
